Role and Responsibilities Maintain day to day Accounts Receivable/ Accounts Payable activities including billing, cash management, and collection • Assist managing the monthly close process and all related tasks • Monthly Financial Reporting • Reconciliations of accounts receivable, cash, Accounts Payable • Daily bank reporting • Assist with annual audit • Assist in development and adherence to internal controls • Backup to the Accounts Payable/ Payroll • Assist with special projects as needed • Other Responsibilities include answering an automated telephone system; sorting and distributing mail, and other general office duties as needed
Qualifications and Education Requirements • Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Must be well organized and a self-starter, work independently and be detail oriented. • Provide professionalism when working with citizens, vendors, and employees. • Must possess strong organizational and time management skills, strong problem solving skills • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
